ICT Enabled Class Rooms & Seminar Halls: ICT enabled tool for effective teaching learning process Learning management system contains a standard set of tools (interactive boards, LCD, smart T.V) that are used to facilitate learning and discussion in an online and offline environment. The faculty members use ICT enabled tools in the effective teaching learning process. The college has
adopted a clever ground as a learning management system. For our further development in the academy for smooth understanding and efficient utilization of LMS (Clever ground Technologies) for uploading video, quiz, assignment and get the answer, share notes on PDF format, send notices on notice board, chat with students regarding academic problem.
The classrooms & seminar hall is well equipped LCD projector with screen for PowerPoint presentation and also equipped with smart boards and have internet connection to access online content like video, PowerPoint presentation, animation, diagrams, webinar etc. The faculty member provides an interactive Platform, whereby different forms of media including photographs, videos, graphs, charts etc. are used for better understanding of the content.
Computer Lab: We have a separate computer laboratory having twenty computers installed with sophisticated hardware and software of latest versions. Internet facility is provided to the students. where the students can online look for jobs/placements in India and abroad. It has also become very convenient way for them to search for admissions abroad or post-doctoral fellowships etc.
This facility helps our research students very much to undertake literature surveys for their dissertations work through the World Wide Web and the different search engines available for this purpose.
Recreation : Institute has huge Auditorium cum seminar hall with almost seating capacity of five hundred for Recreation, Cultural, Scientific Seminar & Audio Visual Program with LCD Projector, screens, white-boards for delivering lectures. OHP etc. The auditoriums are regular venues for conferences, workshops, and seminars.
The purpose of the auditoriums is to enhance the quality of education, creativity and enjoy the events and moments of the college life. All extracurricular activities, annual social, traditional days are celebrated.
Transport : A full-fledged Transport facility of state transport and college bus functions to provide transport facility to students and staff from various places. This college bus service is offered ensuring a hassle-free and safe transportation from hostel to college and vice versa. The routes and pickup points are clearly laid out, and you are requested to follow the timings set for the pickup, so that the
academics of the students are not missed . In addition to the transportation provided by us, the students can choose their preferable mode of transportation.
Canteen & Food Court: Spacious and well-equipped canteen facility is available at Sahyadri Shikshan Sanstha, Govindrao Nikam College Of Pharmacy Campus. A complete and planned meal is served in neat, clean and hygienic surroundings apart from north and south nutritious break-fast, lunch, dinner tea, coffee and
soft drinks along with snacks are also available and all the items are reasonably priced. Various food courts are also available adjoining the campus to suffice the taste and appetite of students to relax and enjoy .
Hostel (Girls & Boys) : Separate girls and boys hostel are constructed in the campus for students. The hostels are provided with various facilities like gymnasium, hot water, power back up, solar panels, in house mess. The hostel are in very natural environment and provide a good atmosphere for study and enjoying college life with buddies.
Government Girls Hostel :
Social welfare department. Ratnagiri has started girls hostel for reserve category students. It is nearby Priyadarshani Hostel behind Govindrao Nikam College of Pharmacy Sawarde from the A.Y.2013 – 14. Hostel capacity is of 100 students. A spacious building with all facilities and security is available after application and government procedures.
Gymnasium, Playground and Indoor Stadium : Health should be on top priority of everyone , WE at GNCOP, understands this very well and to keep students healthy we provide a good gymnasium for students, with modern instruments and facility, large play ground are available for outdoor games and indoor stadium is for Badminton and Table tennis, Carrum and Chess.
