Principal's Message

Late Shri Govindrao Nikam , the Founder President of Sahyadri Shikshan Sanstha , Sawarde established it in 1957 with the passion to make education available for childrens of the rural farmers. Sahyadri Shikshan Sanstha’s Govindrao Nikam College of Pharmacy is situated in Sawarde , Ratnagiri is the first Pharmacy college established in 2005, it is approved by AICTE, State Government of Maharashtra and DTE Mumbai, and it is affiliated toUniversity of Mumbai. Sawarde Pharmacy, Ratnagiri offering three programmes namely Diploma in Pharmacy, Bachelor in Pharmacy and Masters in Pharmacy. My team inspires the students to define their purpose in life, mission and legacy while integrating the mission of college.We seek the evolution of each student through their programmes which serves as a bridge that allows them to reach their full potential and achieve their dreams. We seek to serve and engage our students and staff through transformative learning and life experiences, and the wider world through discovery, disseminating knowledge and ideas, innovation and deep partnerships. Our efforts is directed to provide the students with a rich and varied academic, co-curricular and extra-curricular environment that ensures opportunities for both intellectual development and the acquisition of professional knowledge and skills. The curriculum is continually assessed and optimized using guidance from industry advisory counsil. The reason for our success lies not only in strong work ethics but also grooming the individual student i.e. mentoring the students. Alumni members of the Institutes have grown to become pioneers of divers companies and corporations. We not only strive to make the students academically strong and successful, but we make our student to live our vision statement of institute to spread health , hope , happiness….

Sahyadri Shikshan Sanstha , Sawarde was established in 1957 by Late Shri Govindraoji Nikam , the Founder President, with the passion to make education available for children in the rural Kokan region Sahyadri Shikshan Sanstha, Govindrao Nikam College of Pharmacy Sawarde , Ratnagiri is the first Pharmacy institute in konkan region established in 2005, approved by AICTE, PCI, State Government of Maharashtra and DTE Mumbai, and affiliated to University of Mumbai. The institute offers programs namely Diploma in Pharmacy, Bachelor in Pharmacy and Masters in Pharmaceutics. While integrating the mission of institute,I am proud to say that my efficient team inspires the students to define their purpose in life, mission and legacy. We seek the evolution of each student through their programs which serve as a bridge that allows them to reach their full potential and achieve their dreams.
