Chairman's Message
Sahyadri Shikshan Sanstha, Sawarde, Tal. Chiplun, is working on the principle of ‘Educating people in the Konkan region for their Socio-economic development’. Although blessed with plenty of natural resources, Konkan region is still lagging behind in educational and agricultural aspects. We keep the prime objective to educate the students from the remote villages in the technical, agricultural and pharmaceutical field which in turn will generate employment opportunities for them resulting in socio-economic development. I am indeed privileged to welcome you to the Sahyadri Shikshan Sanstha, Sawarde a premier educational hub in and around Konkan.
I am proud to state that we are offering various courses in Education, Agriculture, Technology, Pharmacy etc. It has been our endeavor to provide education at par excellence. In the academic year 2005-2006 Sahyadri Shikshan Sanstha Govindrao Nikam College of Pharmacy at Sawarde marked a new beginning. This college is approved by AICTE, PCI, DTE and Government of Maharashtra. The institute is affiliated to University of Mumbai. The well qualified trained staff along with sound infrastructure guarantees the quality education. In addition to the basic necessities, the institute is supported with facilities like Hostel, Indoor stadium, Gymnasium, etc. The technical campus spread over fifty acres, very well connected to roadway and railway network. The five decade experience of the management coupled with young and dynamic leadership ensures the path towards success. In this era of globalization, technical education in general and particularly Pharmacy offers wide scope for our future generations. Keeping this in mind, we are offering the programs D. Pharmacy, B. Pharmacy and M. Pharmacy. I hope, aspirants to these programs will make best out of the opportunities made available to them. Once again I welcome you to Sahyadri Shikshan Sanstha.
